CORRECTION - - The increase of 5.5% in the price of gas will be effective on April 30

The increase of 5.5% of gas tariffs for individuals will enter into force Wednesday, 24 hours after publication of the corresponding decree of the Ministries of Economy and Ecology in the Official Journal.

The government has justified this by further increase in oil prices which are indexed natural gas prices.

The proposed increase of 5.5% rate of Gaz de France had been submitted to the Regulatory Commission of Energy (CRE) in early April.

This represents an increase of 0264 cents per kWh on average.

According to Christine Lagarde, this decision will mean a monthly increase of four euros TTC for a home.
