Thursday, May 15, schools, colleges and high schools will be on strike. Five federations of Education (FSU, Unsa-Education, Sgen-CFDT, CGT and Ferc-South-Education) on Thursday called the strike to protest against the educational and fiscal policy of government.
The students also call the same day strike in protest against the 8,830 job cuts expected at the beginning. The objective of unions: to this day a national gathering on the theme of education.
For larger budgets and other policy
In a statement, the five federations, which represent over 70% of the teaching profession, believe that "changes in the school involve an entirely different dynamic for the education system and for trades of Education." They want "ambitious budgets that allow a transformation of the school" and implementing "another education policy for the success of all students."
