"ON A PRINTING TO BE BERNÉS"

All production facilities of Airbus in France, ie the three sites in Toulouse and those of Nantes, Saint-Nazaire and Méaulte (Sum), are affected, Thursday, April 24, by mobilizing employees. "Some sites are blocked completely. On others, we have only installed filter dams and employees are free to go inside factories," said Marina Lensky, Trade Central CFTC.

In Saint-Nazaire, mobilization was 85% to 90% depending Workers Force (FOR). The employees refuse the sale of two french sites - Saint-Nazaire and Méaulte - under the savings plan Power 8, while the Airbus management has to forgo selling three German sites, which will eventually filialisés to 100%.

Yvonnick Dréno, head of FO explains: "The management does not meet its commitments on equal treatment between France and Germany. Under Power 8 there were already several hundred job cuts in France and yet nothing in Germany, and now their sites to be sold are filialisés: one has the impression that they have a system to share and we are experiencing coercive measures. " He added: "This is an injustice, one has the impression of being fooled."

While Inter Airbus has called for stoppages for four hours Thursday in the different sites french, the five unions Méaulte (FOR, CGC, CFDT, CGT and CFTC) opted for a movement of two days, a feeling "most concerned" by the process.

Denouncing a lack of fairness, unions seek to Louis Gallois, CEO of EADS, to keep "its commitments on the simultaneous and parallel forms on the sale of sites"
